Mingwu Zheng

Hubei University of Technology

Title: Privacy Preservation on Machine Learning

Mingwu Zhang is a professor with the School of Computers in Hubei University of Technology. From 2010 to 2012, he has been a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow of Japan Society of Promotion Sciences at Institute of Mathematics for Industry in Kyushu University, Japan. From 2015 to 2016, he has been a Senior Visiting Professor with the School of Computing and Information Technology, University of Wollongong, Australia. His research interests include networks and data security, secure computation and privacy preservation in bigdata, AI, clouds and crowdsensing, etc. He has been served as the Program Committee Member of several international conferences and published over 100 articles in international conferences and journals such as ASIACRYPT, ACISP, ProvSec, ISPEC, Inscrypt, IEEE-TIFS, TCS, DCC, IEEE-TDSC, IEEE-TSC, IEEE TVT, etc. He received six Best Paper Awards in the international conference such as ACISP'18, Inscrypt'18 and SocialSec'22, etc.

Yining Liu

Guilin University Of Electronic Technology

Title: Privacy issues in data publication

Yining Liu is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Computer and Information Security at Guilin University of Electronic Technology. He has been the principal investigator for over 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and projects at the provincial and ministerial levels. In 2020, he received the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award from the China Electronics Society and the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award from Guangxi. In 2019, he was honored with the IET Premium Awards. He has been included in the list of the top 2% of global scientists in 2021 and 2022 and was recognized as an outstanding reviewer for the Journal of Software in 2021. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 70 SCI papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Information, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing, IET Information Security, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Sensors Journal, ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, Computer Research and Development, Journal of Electronics & Information Technology, as well as in major international conferences such as Inscrypt, ISPEC, ICICS, and ISC. Nine of his papers have been selected as Highly Cited Papers in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI), with two of them also being recognized as Hot Papers.

Zhe Xia

Wuhan University of Technology

Title: Quorum Controlled Homomorphic Re-encryption for Privacy Preserving Computations in the Cloud

Zhe Xia is a Ph.D. holder and an Associate Professor at Wuhan University of Technology. He serves as a Master’s supervisor and holds positions as the Executive Director of the Hubei Province Cybersecurity Association and a Director of the Hubei Province Commercial Cryptography Association. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Surrey, UK, in 2009. From 2009 to 2013, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Surrey, UK, and from 2017 to 2018, he undertook visiting studies at the University of Wollongong in Australia. His primary research interests lie in the fields of information security and cryptography.In recent years, Xia Zhe has published nearly a hundred academic papers in international journals and conferences such as TIFS, DCC, ACISP, ICICS, etc. He has served as a reviewer for the Australian Research Council in the field of information security and as a program committee member for international academic conferences such as ESORICS, ICICS, NSS, among others. Currently, he is the Associate Editor of the recommended international journal “Journal of Information Security and Application” by the China Computer Federation and serves as an editorial board member for various information security special issues.

Chi Cheng

China University of Geosciences, Wuhan

Title: On key reuse attacks against lattice-based KEMs

Chi Cheng is the Director of the Information Security Department at the School of Computer Science, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). He also serves as the Deputy Director of the Hubei Key Laboratory of Intelligent Geological Information Processing. He holds the position of Associate Professor and is a doctoral supervisor. He has published over 30 articles in prestigious domestic and international journals and magazines, including Asiacrypt 2021, ESORICS 2019, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Communications Magazine, Journal of Communications, Journal of Electronics & Information Technology, and more. In 2016, his paper published in 2016 received the IET Premium Awards from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in 2019. He has previously been awarded the Second Prize in the Natural Science category by the China Electronics Society (ranking second) and the Second Prize in Natural Science by Guangxi (ranking second).
